I believe that there should be an association for teachers of
architecture in India – committed for the betterment of the profession. I
believe that it’s time for such an initiative - to get organised under a common
umbrella.

IAAE· To promote the value, richness, quality, and diversity inherent in architectural education.
· To foster inclusive dialogue between the IAAE community, students and employers, and educational and professional bodies.
· To develop, support and represent communities of practice and learning in architectural education in India.
I request all those interested to write to me so that we can
work towards the same. In the current scenario were more people are getting
involved with architecture education, it would be imperative that such a
movement be initiated at earliest. Similar platforms are existent in various
countries were architectural education is given importance.

I believe that such a body is more relevant as more and
more schools of architecture are being formed every year and there is seldom
less awareness to promote quality of good education.
I sincerely believe that all those involved in serious
architectural education would come forward to realise this organisation in
totality.
